I just have to actually charge the controller through a PS5 console. Here's the kicker, my Adapter is listed perfectly fine in the network cards page as "Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows". The guides all say to go manually download drivers from the Microsoft page. Namely that for most people, the Adapter isn't even recognized in their Device Manager, and comes up as Xbox ACC or something in their Other Devices page.
